Meu Amigo,

Remember that the Pampas does not stop at the Argentine border. Brasilian Gauchos often used lances. Most of their lances had a half-moon shape on or near the end of the lance. These look like they might work for the Farropilhian Revolution.

A nice looking figure line.

First of all… sorry for miss the link.
I'm getting real old!! (smile).

Second, glad you like them boys.

Third, Jefritrout is right… I have to admit that my first thought was : "Those look like the Brazilian Gauchos!"… but as Argentine… in my heart there are only OUR Gauchos… my fault here too.

Four, there were many Argentine Gauchos who fought in the frontier against the Indians …and when they were recruited by force … they not give them uniform at first … but they give them a lance so they could fight the Indians.

These Gaucho figures would fit in well for the Paraguayan War (War of the Triple Alliance). Many Allied cavalry affected a Gaucho look, and they carried lances.
