Well I pulled the trigger at the last minute and bought a level 5 "Nickstarter". Now while I'm waiting on my shiny new toys I thought I'd start building some terrain. Well I looked at my line of 28mm "desert" buildings and wondered what they would look like with a "frosty" paint job. Here's the first one, what do you guys think. Is this "frosty" enough?

I like it also. Nice work. I bought in at level 3.

Looks good. I'm debating whether to go the whole hog with piled snow/backing powder on the roofs and in the nooks and crannies, or just a light dusting with white spray paint.

I'm in at level 5 and have just been trawling eBay for some of the old Battlefield in a Box and Conflix sets. If you don't mind a bit of construction work, there's also a chap on eBay selling pre-cast sets of Hirst Arts blocks at very reasonable prices.

Picked up a set of interlocking yoga mats with a cobblestone-like texture on the back for a terrain mat. 4 foot square of textured terrain for less than £20.00 GBP!. A blast of black and some grey dybrushing and they should look great.

Well I'm fortunate in the fact that I already have an entire series of buildings that I make\sell for historicals. They are really meant as a desert theme but I think painted up in this grey scheme they will work great for Frostgrave. So I'm gonna cast a whole set for myself and paint them in this grey. I also plan on using them for Osgiliath to get in a little LOTR action.

Those look great for Frostgrave or Osgiliath.
