Here's a cool Pulp Alley battle report shared by General M@yhem ---

We played another game of Pulp Alley the other night, at the club. A friend brought his brother along ,who hasn't gamed for years. He absolutely loved it and thought the PA ruleset was brilliant. It was a very combat driven game with only 1 'Plot point' plus a getaway plot point.

The premise was that it was nearing the end of the war. Teams from Russia, Germany and Britain were all racing to retrieve one of the Nazi 'Wonder weapons'. The action took place in the ruins of an unnamed town with the Leagues searching for the 'weapon'.

Each League had a Leader, a sidekick and two 'gangs/squads' of troops. As I said, the game was more combat driven than a normal PA game might be.

The board.

The squads set up.

Germans

Russians

British

The Escape plot point.

You mention this was "very combat driven", can you expand on how that worked? It is similar to something I am considering doing with Pulp Alley (WW1 in my case) and would like to hear if your experience.

Thanks
Mike

Dave was only relaying a report that came from General M@yhem. You'd have to ask him.

Cool looking terrain.

@ Mike – I think he just used 1-2 plot points instead of 5, so the focus of the scenario was on more about fighting, and less about specific objectives. We do the same thing sometimes. It makes for a nice change and its lots of fun as well. :D

Have fun!
