"When we first tackled Dungeon Saga there were plenty of features we wanted from a dungeon crawler. It could have all these things and be all-things to all-people, though there was a massive risk of missing the mark and creating a complicated mess that no one understood. Deadzone is a touch guilty of trying to satisfy all of our desires at once. So with Dungeon Saga we made a conscious choice to make a clear split between what we would put into the core game – Ronnie has already covered this in his blog post at the start of the week – and where the remaining content would go. These were all great ideas we felt gamers would move onto having played the core game, and so we put the Adventurer's Companion…"
