So who makes really good D&D type fighters, magic users, Elves, Dwarfs, Halflings… for D&D type adventures that are similar and around the same size as Reaper and Oldworld Miniatures?

What determines

really good D&D type fighters, magic users, Elves, Dwarfs, Halflings… for D&D type adventures
?

Packs, torches, lanterns, ropes for crossing crevasses?

Dragon Bait Miniatures has produced a number of excellent Dungeon Explorer types with packs loaded with equipment, torches, food, weapons and other items. These were sculpted by Kev Adams, Dave Soderquist and Tim Prow and fit in seamlessly with Reaper and Otherworld. You can check them out here: dragon-bait-minis.com/shop

The human cleric and dwarf ranger look legit.

Samnite308,

Yes, some very nice figures there but… gulp… the prices! This is one of the reasons I left off collecting 28+ mm figures!

I have since my OD&D days wondered about the wisdom of sleeping in a dungeon environment…

Yes, individual 'character' types in 28mm can get quite pricey – Otherworld tends to ask for £5.00 GBP (around $7.80 USD) for a human sized character and Reaper is probably pretty close.

I have two sets of tomb robbers which might be suitable for dungeon adventurers, although they are Egyptians not your traditional Medieval fantasy types. They are carrying torches, lamps, satchels, ropes, potions and tools. All the tomb robbers were sculpted by Dave Soderquist and are the same size as Otherworld, Reaper and Dragon Bait. You can check them out here at Dark Fable Miniatures: link

I think the upcoming Frostgrave plastics set look perfect for Dungeon explorers.

Have a look at Midlam miniatures at this web-site – UK based;

Midlam – the old mega-mini figures are quite a bit smaller than Otherworld and those others 28s

Maybe Hasslefree miniatures
