Looking for a good transporting my 1/300 scale aircraft. want something that looks nice but is easy to transport, for gaming. I have a variety of planes from fighters up to bombers. Simple is nice but also I don't mind spending any money towards this also thanks all for the info an suggestions.

You just cannot beat the Sabol Designs system.

Another foam option is Battlefoam which can custom cut trays so the slots are exactly the shape of your planes. You made get be able use fewer trays with the planes being stored more efficiently in the custom trays.

Pluckfoam is available from a variety of sources. You buy a 1" thick piece and pull out little 1/2" squares to make custom "cells" that fit your aircraft. I saw one guy who put labels in the cells so he knew what went where. Pretty slick.

The new GW cases seem pretty innovative. I have only seen them online not in person but it is a system of tall foam trays with zig zag "channel" inserts that is meant to adapt to most models without cutting or plucking.

I buy Plano or Flambeau cases. These are great to carry aircraft in. You can find them at Walmart, Gander Mountain or any store that has a fishing tackle section. I put foam squares in the slots and they provided great protection for your aircraft. I have been doing this for over ten years. Never had a problem. Google search Plano or Flambeau tackle boexes and you will find a lot of options.
