"Mantic is heading down to the dungeons beneath their Kings of War world in Dungeon Saga. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game is now coming out for everyone. You can get your pre-orders in now over on Mantic's webshop. If you do, you'll get a free, limited-edition miniature as part of the deal. There's quite a lot of stuff in the box set. And something else is that all the figures are pre-assembled in colored plastic.

The wizard Mortibris is going around, disgracing cites of Valandor (who had been the greatest hero of all). This disgraced wizard is your free figure if you order your Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf King's Quest set between now and July 31st from Mantic directly.

I mentioned there being a lot in the box. Well, here's a list:

All of the rules to play Dungeon Saga
26 Battle-ready Coloured Plastic Miniatures – no assembly required
33 double-sided Dungeon Room and Corridor Tiles made of thick card.
50 clear plastic clips to hold your dungeon together
10 plastic Dungeon Doors
22 pieces of plastic Dungeon furniture
8 double-sided Character Cards for your heroes and villains
1 Overlord Panel for the Necromancer player
6 Bone-coloured Overlord dice
6 Blue-coloured Hero Dice
22 Overlord Command Cards
9 Minor Spell Cards
12 Major Spell Cards
27 Magic Item Cards
8 Ability Cards
24 Wound Counters
4 Hero Counters
24 Piles of Bones
6 Weak Point Counters
1 Cave-In Counter
3 Petty Magic Spell Effect Counters
1 Geomancy Spell Effect Counter
1 Sorcery Spell Effect Counter
4 Necromancy Spell Effect Counters
1 You are in my Power Counter
16 Experience Counters
1 Banshee Heart in 4 Pieces
15 Door Counters

And again, all the figures are pre-assembled. They are molded in colored plastic, so you don't have to paint them if you don't want to (and that should also let you know that they're not pre-painted)."

It is going to be shipped really soon.

Was one minor issue that they have corrected though.

The issue was that for individuals who ordered more than $200 USD were surpose to get a Hardback Adventurer's Companion upgrade.

Here is what they Emailed out to everyone who was impacted by this issue.

However, due to an unfortunate error in our database, this upgrade was not included on the picking list and instead your order was shipped with a softback version of the book.

We are very sorry for this error.

This week we will be sending your hardback Adventurer's Companion to you.

There is no need to reply to this email, or fill out a missing items form. The book will be shipped to you in an individual package that will arrive separately from the rest of your pledge.

Please keep the Softback Adventurer's Companion as a sign of our gratitude.

This is a very quick response to what would have been a major issue.

Which is why I have backed three of Mantic's Kickstarters.

I've heard the Adventurer's Companion had some problems with editting. I wonder if that was the hardback, soft cover or both. I'm looking forward to getting my copy of everything soon.

Played first game over Christmas – this is one of the best Dungeon Crawlers out there. Simple rules with lots of tactics and action.

I have bought the adventurer's companion and all the typos and mistakes have been fixed. Now you can design your own heroes, go on Campaigns and have AI running the overlord. This takes the game to another level.

I wonder if that was the hardback, soft cover or both.

That would be both.
