Could anyone tell me if these Perry Arabs have separate or cast shields?

Cast on, painted some for a client, excellent miniatures and they paint up well. Cheers |

Cast. It's a real shame. They would be great for a much greater range of uses if not for the teardrops. |

I wouldn't dispute the use of kite shaped shields by Moslem foot, but if you are going to do cast on shields I think round shields would be more useful. Gripping Beast do a similar standing Arab foot with round shields.

The tear drop shields on the GB plastic arabs look less Norman. A slightly different shape. |
