Because of the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo, Oniria Miniatures sells a diorama on the theme of the famous "Merde!" from Cambrone dixit in 36 mm.
(He never said that!. We know… but the tittle is the tittle..) (smile)

Ok Armand, he said perhaps "la Garde meurt et ne se rend pas!" but he thought "Merde!" for sure…

In the real history… Cambrone was taking prisioner by an english officer on horse and he never said "the mot".

The Old Guard retreat in good order reyecting all the Allied send against them.

There were not a square sorrounded by cannons.

But it's a beautifull history anyway. (smile)

Halkett, leading a brigade of Hanoverian Landwehr. How often would you get that result in a wargame?
