Someone posted on their forum that they are going out of business. Anyone else heard this?

First I heard of it. You sure that's not old news from back in the day of the parting of Tony Reidy?

EDIT Looks like they are closing down the Colorado location. Some restructuring going on as well in another post.

The Site Administrator Paul at WGF in the Forum News section says "not true". Far from it. They are reaching a distribution deal with Warlord to break into the European market. Sales are up over last year too. Check out the WGF website Forum as I expect there will be lots on this subject.

I like hocklermp5's answer.

Yes seems to me that things are going well for them and they are hugely popular at the HMGS shows.

Maybe it was this posting yesterday in the TMP Marketplace?

Selling off the last of our Wargames Factory.

Glad to see they are doing fine.

Yes I think old news, and them striking a deal with Warlord is also good news. Their horses for the Persian cavalry ar some of the best plastic horses ever (they need tp finish this range off too) and although not brilliant plastics I think they are more than adequate and besides the older kits and the Spanish Succession horses (no bases and hard to glue to any bases) they are great to build and paint for fairly cheap (and if you put a little effort into the paint up) very pretty looking figures. So good luck and long lived to them.
Cheers and what are they planing to release next?

If WGF is making a European distribution deal with Warlord, I certainly understand why North star is clearing out their stuff.

Definitely some restructuring going on. Personally, I miss the old crew… (not Tony, the post-Tony crew…)
