How many wargame conventions do you attend in a year? Could be a big or a small convention.

I usually attend 5 and run another one, which I also attend, so 6.

It varies, typically from three to seven or eight…

Two, if I'm lucky.

Usually one, but there's two more within striking distance I'd really like to attend.

On a good year 5+ (G).

Two are within reasonable reach, I try to visit both.

1-2 if the schedule matches

1 or 2 are all that are within driving distance.

In my area which is the San Francisco Bay Area I try and do three conventions every year.

It's a mix of me affording it or running games and as such I get in for free.

Up until last August it had been 3 for many years. Now my target is 5, not counting a local 1 day gem in October. The only blurry area anymore is HCon, which will firm up once I finally manage to find a way to effectively navigate the treacherous and murky waters of the Homewood's infernal and unfathomable reservation process.

I'm on for 10 this year! Far too many given how much I usually spend.

All the ones near me, that I used to visit (Roll Call, Dunstable; Salvo,Colchester) have given up the ghost. Nowadays I am lucky to get to one per year. Newark this year, Manchester a few years ago.

Definitely not enough.
