They look great! Any chance one day you'll make the Gardes Françaises, preferably in the poses depicted in the fmaous Philippoteaux painting? link

Artemis, Crann Tara is releasing the very Gardes Francaises miniatures you are requesting. Both Minden and Crann Tara are sculpted by Richard Ansell and are fully compatible. Jim, these are beautifully painted. I can't wait to start on mine. Thank you for posting. Bill |

Yes, Graham Cummings has plans to add the Fontenoy Picture Gardes to his range, while I will add the Maison du Roi cavalry. We are trying to coordinate our plans to avoid overlap of the same figures. Synergy. |

Painting that whole platoon of drummers sure looks like a fun way to spend the summer. |

It may be a silly question, but is there a particular reason ( or evidence ) for the officer to be carrying his fusil on the left? |

Great work – a must have unit for the serious French SYW gamer |

That's excellent news about the Gardes Françaises. But these Grenadiers de France are very nice too! |

The pose of the NCO straightening out the rear of the line is physically impossible to do unless you are a yoga master. Try it out for yourself. |

@ Der Alte Fritz; Sorry, my spontoon is in the shop! Impossible poses has never daunted figure sculptors. Look at that Egyptian-like pose Phoenix/Les Higgins figures used to come in! |
