Thought I'd share… I've been updating my blog (painting record?) with some completed miniatures and surprised myself at the range I've been messing about with recently.

I think there is something for all non-historical 15mm gamers/figure collectors this month. Later this month hard sci-fi, Dark Ages and Arthurian ;-)

As a new convert to 15mm gaming I was only thinking this morning if painting up some fantasy figures would work for a dungeon crawl game… you have convinced me it is a good idea.

Plus the 15mm Conan figures fit perfectly for another idea I was toying with.

Fantastic work, and lovely eye candy. Thank you :-)

Thanks to all for the very kind comments. Truth is a little pat on the back from time to time is really motivational but more so is the knowledge that sharing spurs someone else on. In this case shelldrake I hope.

And I do think 15mm as a whole is continuing to enjoy a bit of a renaissance at the moment which should be shouted about and shared.

Very well done!

A quick not to Shelldrake – regards the 15mm Dungeon Crawl options – I think between the SLM Gladiatorial packs and the SLM via Rebel Army packs I must have at least another 50+ dungeon/D&D archetypes to paint up.

Also, for fun, I painted up a set of 15mm proxies for a Talisman player character set to go along side their 28/30mm cousins. Why? No good reason at all but they match pretty well on the most part. I'll post pics once I get round to it.

Those are very well done!

Just catching up on this, but great paint jobs! I think the Victorian adventuress in white and purple is my favourite. Well, maybe the monkey in the white 1970s spacesuit is a contender too…

Hey, Rebel Mike, how about the figures for Mysterious Island? The original book, not the rather sad movies and even worst television variations.

I mentioned it above so thought I'd post it here. I finally got around to taking some pictures of the 15mm Talisman proxies I painted up a little while back. Some are better matches than others but thought it would be fun to paint the 28mms and their little counterparts at the same time. It was.

If anyone has suggestions to better proxies I'd love to hear.
