It seems like I'm posting all over the aviation boards, doesn't it?

Well, I'm planning tot do a big 1/600 Suez project, but at first glance, I can;t find any specific numbers for squadron size besides the air complements of Albion and Bulwark. Are there any sources where I can find this information?

Nothing specific found so far but these two look to give some good info.

Actually, the first one seems to give you every single piece of info you nee except specific numbes…

The page from the first link (Suez Crisis, 1956: The War of Stripes) must have been updated because it has aircraft numbers for just about every squadron.

I've got a decent library on Suez, and my best reference for the air war is Brian Cull's "Wings Over Suez". It has not only squadron strengths but tail numbers for most aircraft in each squadron, as well as a description of *every* air to air combat and most bombing raids. Really a fascinating situation.

Ditto "wings over Suez" which has a phenomenal amount of detail. it was going to be my next project but the lack of defences after the initial raids has dampened unless I tried some what ifs
