I have three to paint up in 1/600th as CAP escort for the EB-66s during an Op Bolo scenario. The TO 1-1-4 extract seems to suggest 36622 for the radome. Seems a bit light. Can anyone offer an alternative

The pictures I have seen show the radome painted the same camo color as the rest of the aircraft.

I think 36622 is probably right for factory fresh, but it seems to have been overpainted in Vietnam – try here, especially the flightline photo near the bottom – most seem to be in the lighter of the two greens used on the camo, but at least one is in the darker green instead – none left light-coloured.

Dom has it right. For SEA service, I've never seen a radome painted in anything other than the light or dark green. I've most often seen the dark green.

I have some other decals in progress fir the serial and USAF on the tail which I will add at some time. Time to get cracking with the USAF they have been the poor relation to my USN aircraft
