I have now finished the last unit of Foot to complete my contingent of Le Grand Condé's French rebels. Now they are ready to take on Louis XIV's evil advisors – especially Cardinal Mazarin.
The figures are a mix of Warlord Games, Assault Group and Perry.

I like the Guitaud (German) regiment with its blue/white flag.

The horizontal bars are somewhat common among the German units of the Imperial forces so that works well.

I had a similar difficulty finding references for flags of Cologne and Munster, allies for the French invasion of the United Provinces.

Look forward to reading your Battle of the Dunes with its unique terrain features of beach, dunes and open ground.

Cheers,
Robert

Thanks Robert,
I imagine it will be sometime in the autumn before I get all the troops together. Not sure yet how to tackle the terrain with the high sand dunes
