It is indeed a great book. I am reading it now. Well for the last few weeks as my read to occupy me on the bus to and from work.

The North Africa portion is great. The 5 PM truce with a Brit Hussars unit. The way he speaks about his walks with Rommel.

It is one of my favorites right now and I will third the statements of the previous Gentlemen: Excellent Book and the telling of Battalion level battles in Normandy for Op. Epsom is worth it alone.
