I've been working up some Trek TNG fleets, and one thing that I have not been able to locate are suitable sized Danube runabouts. I'm looking for something about 1/2" long or so, so I can put 6 of them on a stand (using Full Thrust Gunboats as Runabouts).

Anyone ever come across something close to that size? I know Studio Bergstrom sells something vaguely similar but they are about 3/4" long.

Thanks, but none of those are even close to the needed size.

You know? I think you could get close with some chopped tines off a plastic fork.

Find 'em that are wide at the base of the tine, hack off about half an inch, and some that are narrow near the tip, hacking off a quarter inch, and glue '!'.

Grind a bit at the 'nose', and paint in details.

I'D never get it done, but you've got the chops.

I ended up contacting the seller of those Scampers that Allen57 pointed me at, and she rescaled some to 1/2" for me. I am going to be the Guinea Pig and order some next week and see if they work out. :)

Thanks, Allen.
