Is there a set of rules where each player's force is anything from a couple of companies up to a reinforced battlegroup in which each model vehicle/base is a platoon? |

Greetings Several. E.g.: Command decision – Test of battle Blitzkrieg Commander Spearhead Normally a player command will be a battalion plus. Regards Edward |

Thanks Edward. I have never played Blitzkrieg Commander, but I own Spearhead and have played Command Decision (1st edition, a long, long time ago). Both those rulesets seem more geared to having at least a brigade and more probably a division per side? |

Commander Decision is pitched at exactly the level you describe. You would struggle greatly to run a division with them. Brigade is doable with time, if you know what you are doing etc. The sweet spot is reinforced battalion. |

Combat Command (available on Wargames Vault) uses that exact scale and allows the player to construct a BattleGroup by combining historical companies. Good for pick up games. Advanced Rules to be released in near future. TomT |

Maybe 100 sets by now. Seems to be the most popular level of play to write for. |

Kampfgruppe Commander is another good choice, models c&c very well. |
