I've noticed that we're getting a lot of email bounces from email addresses ending in @comcast.net

This is something on Comcast's end. You might try talking to them.

Alternately, you might want to switch to another email address for your TMP account.

I sell Comcast and always recommend that people stay away from .net email addresses. The main reason is that if you go back to another .net service you lose your email address.
.com addresses are better if you switch back and forth chasing best prices.

Of course we beat DSL internet hands down.

The error message we get back is:

mx1.comcast.net: incorrect SMTP prompt at the host

This might mean that TMP has been mistakenly put on a blacklist of some kind. I have requested Comcast to remove us from any blacklist…

I have used Comcast for over a decade and every once in a while customers contact me by alternate means to tell me that Comcast is rejecting their emails. Turns out that Comcast is very aggressive should they believe the bad guys are coming in through a particular set of addresses. My discussion with Comcast techs yielded the info that they simply shut off a broad spectrum of where they think the problem is and then rely on customers to contact the supposedly offending ISPs and straighten it all out.

Like I said, don't use a comcast.net email address.
The only reason I have one is that I have to. grin
My officially approved business cards have to have it I'm afraid.
All my other business is on msn.com
