I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good set of victorian science fiction skirmish rules? I ant rules to focus on small groups of individual bases figures. I am reviving a an army that was inspired by 20,000 leagues under the sea. David

Here's a link to the GASLIGHT webpage where there is a free set of "quick start" rules to download: link And here is a link to a large award-winning 20,000 Leagues Under the a Sea themed game we did at Nashcon Last year using GASLIGHT: link

Amazing, you ask about a set of VSF skirmishing rules on the G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. forum and the answer is G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. Who'd a thunk? |

GASLIGHT or In Her Majesty's Name. IHMN handles small numbers of figures really well; GASLIGHT is better for bigger forces. |

I'd tend to put it as IHMN tends to focus more on character, but any player of GASLIGHT will tend to add a heck of a lot of character to their favorite figs. On the other hand, I believe our GASLIGHT games tend to handle larger battles partially because we tend to use some of the shortcuts in Battles By GASLIGHT. Actually, we mix and match so much, I'm not sure we know where one ends another begins. Doug |

Since nobody else brought it up, I'll put a recommendation in for GASLIGHT. |
