I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good set of victorian science fiction skirmish rules? I ant rules to focus on small groups of individual bases figues. I am reviving a an army that was inspired by 20,000 leagues under the sea. David

In Her Majesty's Name but it is slightly more single company versus single company oriented IMNSHO. |

Brink of Battle will handle it nicely. |

I have used both In Her Majesty's name and Empire of the Dead. Empire of the Dead has a fantastic campaign module – your group develops its character over the campaign, but you start kind of Vanilla (There is a Nemo's Crew pack and rules) There is also a free online unit builder program In Her Majesty's Name give you tons of flexibility in building a group |

It depends on number of figures. If you want less than a dozen to a side, I'd go with In Her Majesty's Name. If you are looking for slightly bigger fights, I'd go with GASLIGHT. I really like them both, just for different things. For bigger games, Battles by GASLIGHT or When the Navy Walked are nice. For really big games, there's Dystopian Wars. I have VSF projects in four different scales; I'm kind of a junkie. Use a lot of brass paint. |

I would second J Womack's comments. |
