I'm seriously interested in getting into Napoleonics, and I'm considering either 6mm or 10mm – I like the idea of large numbers of forces on the table – I'm looking for help. As far as my Google-fu has been able to find, the only producers of 6mm are Adler and Baccus. Is this so, or are there others? Do they have US distributors, or are the shipments from the UK to the US easily handled? For 10mm, I've been able to find Bend Sinister, GHQ, Old Glory and Pendraken. The same questions above apply here, although I know that GHQ and Old Glory are in the US. Thanks! |

6mm is also offered by Heroics and Ros, bu they are smaller in size than Baccus and Adler |

Haven't bought from Baccus other than in person (he is a nice guy)but have been buying Adler from UK to Australia for 20 years and never an issue – always good comms and pretty quick. |

I think Scale Creep do Baccus 6mm in the US. Irregular Miniatures do 6mm too: link |

If you want earlier 10mm Napoleonics, ie 1805 ish my range of French is growing fast, Austrian and Russian out soon. Scale wise the infantry sit nicely with Pendraken. Got several customers in the States so postage no problem. link |

You may want to check out Magister Militum's 10mm Napoleonic figures. I was strongly considering them before deciding on AB in 18mm. Some TMPers find their website a bit tricky to navigate. Try this. It works for me. 1) Display their home page magistermilitum.com 2) From the green ribbon bar at the top of their home page, select Historical Period = Napoleonic War. Wait for the screen to refresh. This will display all of their Napoleonic figures (all scales, all nations, all manufacturers, etc.) You will want to narrow down this list. 3) From the gray selection box on the left side of the page, select Scale = 10mm. Wait for the screen to refresh, and then select Manufacturer = Magister Militum. 4) This should display all of the 10mm Napoleonics from Magister Militum. You can narrow down the list again by selecting a specific nation from the gray box on the left. Hope it helps. EDITED: Well, I tried to include a direct link, but it didn't work me, so I removed it. |

i've ordered from Baccus , Pendraken and Scale Creep and never had anything but excellent service from all three . i'm in Canada but i think the service from the UK should be the same , and from Scale Creep you'll have the advantage of paying less for postage :) |

I know from experience that Bend Sinister, Pendraken and Lancer all have top notch service and lovely 10mm ranges. |

Have a look at my page for 10mm Napoleonics. There are some reviews of the different makers. I went mostly with Bend Sinister with other manufacturers filling in the gaps. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get back to the project for a few years. Waiting until there is some more time. 10mmnapoleonics.blogspot.com |

For 6mm you have Adler, Baccus, Heroics and Ros, Irregular. I have tons of H&R and Irregular stuff. |

I've got a lot of 15mm, but after having started 10mm ACW armies, I'm seriously considering starting my Napoleonics over in 10mm. I would go with OG. Price + quality + strips = win, to me. |

For cost and numbers, I would go with 6mm, BUT my tired old middle-aged, varifocal wearing eyes just can't cope with such small figures any more, so 10mm for me! |

I'd like to give 10mm a spin but as my Napoleonics and WW2 stuff is at 15mm I don't think it'd be a big enough difference to be really worth it. When I have that moment of insanity when I decide to change scales it'll be to 6mm, I think. |

I have some Pendraken 10mm French based and have got 12 figures on a 40mm x 20mm base (in 2 ranks), which looks quite nice. |
