Unhappy with the FB groups I am part off (due to either too much GW or too much Napoleon) I decided to create a new Facebook Group for 19th century war-gaming. If you are interested in participating you can find it under the title

19th Century Warfare and Wargaming

I especially welcome any writers of rules or companies who want a Facebook presence and do not have one, as long as they focus on the 19th century.

Obviously TMP is still better!

Nice idea but I don't do big brother FB and yes, TMP is better. I expect many others feel the same.

I would be interested but, alas, not a FB user.

I do use FB, but I have been very disappointed with the few wargame themed FB groups I have joined. A Yahoo group or the TMP gets my vote every time.

No problem, Guthroth. Indeed I understand you. One of the reasons for creating this group was because I was unhappy with the Black Powder FB Group that tends to get swamped by Napoleonic.

To avoid the possible staleness of a FB Group, I have instituted rather strict rules, and second Themes, which are monthly topics on which the administrator must make at least four posts. This month the Theme is the War of the Triple Alliance.

Just joined. Looking forward to seeing what others are doing. My own interests are mid-19th Century (1854-1871).
