Does anyone have this book? How good is it's information about the organization and dress of the ottoman/mamluk forces? |

It does have info on the Egyptian and Turkish forces, but not in any great detail. If that's your focus, I'd recommend William Johnson's "The Crescent Among the Eagles", available from Nafziger. |

Thank you very much, rmaker! What about the illustrations of ottoman troops? Are there many in the book? |

I assume you mean in Grant. There are some, but part of the problem is that, with very few exceptions "Ottoman uniform" is an oxymoron, and "Mameluk uniform" is worse. |
