My Memorial Day game was a play test of the Lion Rampant scenario, The Convoy, for next month's Bayou Wars ( bayouwars.org )convention. The English had to get supplies to King Henry's army prior to the battle at Agincourt. The French, of course, are trying to stop them. A brief report with some pictures at: link In order to keep the events moving and give everyone an opportunity to get into the action, each player got to try and activate each of his three units. Even then some units couldn't be activated for several turns in a row. But the players seemed to enjoy the fight, especially Alex, an English commander, who was challenged to a duel by Ed, a French commander. Alex won handily 2 hits to nil. Jim |
