There are four new kits available in the 1:600 scale Anglo-Dutch series.
1. The Sovereign of the Seas, as built in 1637. 2. The Royal Sovereign, Sovereign of the Seas as she appeared after her 1660 refit, in which guise she did most of her fighting. 3. A generic 70/72 gun ship of the line, fit to stand in for any of the increasingly numerous third rates built during the later Anglo-Dutch Wars. 4. An armed Dutch jacht, the ubiquitous workhorse of the North Sea, used to carry officers, dignitaries, messages and supplies around the fleets. This kit can be built in either 1:600 or 1:300 scale, so that it can also be compatible with the other small vessels in the 1:300 scale series (in particular, the upcoming Mediterranean series, which will also be offered in dual scales) See the website: link or view more pictures of the models on my Flickr page: link Jeff |
