Apparently I am a total dolt as I cannot figure out how to purchase two, full show, adult tickets. When I try to add a second person I only get spouse or child options. Do I actually have to create a new registration two buy a second ticket? |

Well thanks for clarifying. Wonder what on earth persuaded them that this was a good system. |

From past dealing with HMGS East they seem to think they are minor gods and their way is the One True Way regardless of how ridiculous or asinine it is. That's one reason they have lost vendors at their shows recently. If you point out how stupid their ways are, they just shut you down, refuse to deal with you or in other ways marginalize anyone who disagrees with them. The place is a joke – that's why I refuse to give them my money anymore. |

It just seems so odd to require every individual to register prior to purchasing a ticket. Imagine if every time you bought tickets to a show or an athletic event that you could only buy one ticket at a time and every person had to buy their own. Oh well, I guess they have the power to do it and in that I've already bought the plane tickets I'll have to live with it. |

From the trouble they have with their computer system year after year after year I think it has something to do with crappy software. |

I have to agree with sundance regarding HMGS' arrogance. The astonishing display of the registration line every single time, and how slowly it moves is staggering. That any organization putting on a show would treat its attendees like that year after year without any effort to improve things is mind-boggling. Incompetence is a bad thing, but coupled with arrogance it is infuriating. |

Just a reminder that on line registration for Historicon is now open. Popular games are starting to fill up. Some events are already full. Hope to see you there. |

Living in New Jersey, and Historicon might as well be in Europe. The HMGS staff, could care less about any other area, but the south………. I wonder if the noise levels have subsided yet………. bring ear plugs……….. |

Yawn….. How constructive! IMO start your own thread or join other threads rather than trolling this thread |

I believe the idea is to capture the mailing info of all attendees so they can add them to the mailing list. Not saying that is a good or bad thing, just saying what I think is behind how they do business. |

Wow…I never found the desk staff who try to accommodate in a timely manner every request and deal with people changing their minds and others wanting to go in front of everyone else to be anything less than patient and helpful. Maybe if one of you naysayers took a turn behind that table you might have a more mellow point of view. |

BTW, I have sat behind the desk on a couple occasions – not Historicon, but IPMS National Cons (International Plastic Modelers Society) that our chapter put on and hosted in Phoenix. It can be really taxing dealing with the public that way. So, all you guys out there who get frustrated with the Historicon staff, give them a little slack. |
