Apologies for the multiple posting, but my broadband link had a hiccup whilst I was trying to cross post this topic

Now that is just superb. As one of the comments on your blog said, how could a wargamer worth his salt not be inspired by this? Wells would be proud!

Thank you for sharing!

It was a fun game.

To be fair, my Howitzer only killed 6 of my ally Anthony's cavalry when it overshot the town. He had already killed 12 of his own infantry with the first shot of his medium gun!

Great looking game and enjoyable AAR.

Neatly Done, Sir!

The Padre would be proud.

Where did you get your Russki Church?

And do the small blue matchboxes hold the ammunition for each gun?

Looks like the action was well planned and supported, and I'm sure your next action will be better still.

@TVAG

The game was organised by the Padre and I believe the church is his…

The matchboxes held an unknown amount of ammo including possible dud rounds – added quite nicely to the game.

Ahh, I like the matchbox idea…

Spiffing! Thank you for sharing!!

Well Mike, I could certainly have done without your 'supporting fire'…!

It was all great fun and looked spectacular.
