Is carpet tackifier some special kind of adhesive that is different than normal carpet adhesive? And why carpet adhesive instead of a normal glue? |

To be honest, any sort of latex / rubber based glue will work for making self adhesive tufts. I regularly use copydex to make static grass patches. |
