After a serious dressing down by the Colonel of the Regiment, Boye the War Poodle, I finally finished his regiment. After sitting in the depot for over 2 months, Talbot's Regiment is now complete and fully mustered! Time to join the King's Oxford Army.

I hear he can really tear you a new one. I must say, however, you do excellent work when properly motivated.

Even the mutt looks good. grin

Just make sure they don't live up to the color of their coats once they get on the battlefield. Such well-painted figures deserve better than that.

Really well painted units have a tendency to route the first time on the table.

Doc said it :) but nice looking regiment, hope its colonel doesn't go looking for trees to er, sniff :)
Cheers happy gaming.

Woe betide any cats fighting for Parliament! For they will surely be routed, chased, cornered in the kitchen and – if Boye is anything like my girlfriend's little poodle – mounted and humped.

LTC Reinwald,

Here is my version of Sir Gilbert Talbot's Regiment:

Not as finely painted as yours . . . but then I painted more junior companies than you did.

Jeff – Good job! The more flags the better!

Beside the look, the nice thing about a flag with each pike stand is that you can split the unit into two smaller ones if needed for a scenario or rule set.
