The latest revision of the Stars at War campaign system is now available to Patrons supporting Starships 'R' Us at the $5 USD level or above. link Remember, you can back for a single month to check out Stars at War and the other content, then decide whether you want to remain as a Patron.

The big new feature is the annex for using Stars at War as the campaign engine for Full Thrust! This includes campaign game costs for purchasing various technologies from the Full Thrust design rules.

The latest revision reshuffles the Sequence of Play, answers rules questions that have come up, and add a sidebar or five.

It also includes three sample campaign maps, for 3, 4, and 5 player "open book" campaigns. With these files, you should be able to run a Stars at War campaign game, or take one of the maps, some decks of cards, and some dice, and play it as a stand-alone Diplomacy variant with some extra chrome.

Many thanks to Hugh Fisher, Will Minsinger, Shawn Yarborough and Jon Barson for their contributions and expertise.

Ken is looking for people willing to tackle doing annexes for other game engines beyond Full Thrust. He's also looking for better alternatives to the Dice-Driven Abstract Combat System (DDACS), which can't translate its combat results down to damage to individual hulls, making it a poor alternative to other combat options.

Oh, merde. I suppose it was inevitable…

This will put a serious dent in my curmudgeonly stubbornness.
