Hey guys! Had a blast playing Point Blank last weekend with my buddy Vic. Here's a link to the full AAR:

etwgmng.blogspot.com

It was a squad level battle featuring a German patrol ambushed by US forces. The Germans had to escape off the opposite board edge and the US had to try and stop them. It was a close game but the US won. Here's some preview shots from the blog:

Looked like a tight game And close to the very end. I liked the plucky German tossing the grenade. I've found they can be game changers some times when I'm in a tight spot. Especially for clearing buildings.

Nice game and AAR. Glad you are enjoying the rules. PB is a labor of love for me so it's nice to see it get some play :)

Nice to see Disposable Heores these days when everybody is playing Bolt Action (like myself).

I played DH some years ago and, while i liked it, i though it was a bit complicated and lacked something. After playing LOTS of BA games iīve decided to review DH and…what a blast!

Everything i dislike of BA its absent from DH. It retains some simplicity but adding a nice touch of realism so i guess itīs time to read all the rules again and set up a proper game.

Thanks! I also play both. While I undoubtedly prefer DH, no one around me plays except when I host a game. BA helps me get some games, and while it is fun, it just doesn't make the grade for me compared to DH.
