As the title says; I am based in Europe and looking for 1/144 WW2 tanks, already made and painted (Late War German and Allied…) but can not find online shops… this one tankzone.co.uk looks very good but many models are out of stock… any other that you know, in UK or mainland Europe? Thank you

Try Can-do models by Dragon Armor. They are pre-painted 1/144 scale pieces.

Try ebay UK and type in what you're looking for to see if it's available. For instance "1/144 t-34".

Companies that make pre-painted tanks in this scale include Dragon, Takara and Pegasus.

The guy who owns the old toy store across the street from me acquired a decent amount of Can-Do still in their original boxes. This is in Stuttgart- Moringhen at 7 Pliengener Str, just down from the Netto (grocery) store. Where are you based in Europe?

I get most of mine from EBay. The Sellers from Far East are worth looking at, postage costs often relatively cheap. Panzer Depot do a wide range, but they are a bit expensive and I have found some of the barrels (e.g. On their Cromwell) rather fragile. I also buy from a UK seller called "kuofamily" he makes up kits and sells them at reasonable price, although postage costs are high as Royal Mail charges "Small Parcel" cost. He does offer postage discounts for bulk purchases. If you are interested in 41/42 Germans, these look good.

Bit out of my price range, but not overpriced for what is offered.

I think Late War Allies might be hard to find. I bought my Cando Shermans years ago and have not seen any advertised recently.
To be honest, painting 10mm stuff is a doddle and I would seriously think about buying eg Arrowhead or Minifigs kits and building your own. These manufacturers are pretty compatible with the ready painted plastics, especially models from Arrowhead. Most of them are just three or four white metal parts which superglue together. There is a good range of decals available from EBay sellers like Mehusla

I've got some surplus stuff from the Takara range, for the Battle of the Bulge, and Kursk (these are the ones Tankzone used to carry). I've got some of the 21st Century vehicles too, which while not quite as nicely painted as the above, are still very serviceable vehicles for any battlefield.

There's even a remote-controlled, Tiger II, in 1/144th scale. Comes with an authentic looking, but reduced scale, German stick hand grenade as the charging unit.

I'm located in the USA.

These prepainted, 1/144th vehicles are the best of the best, in terms of quality.

PS.
Just looked at Panzer Depot site. Loads of late war Allies on there. Prices are around $US16.

Thank you all… I think I will look at e-bay and fill the gaps with 10mm lead models

@Deserter- if you do buy any white metal, choose carefully. The Pendraken models are nice, but distinctly and noticeably smaller than the plastic prepaints. Worth taking a look at Madaxeman's site.
