Villistas…got the spelling wrong in the title. These hombres will also be part of the initial Mexican Revolution range:
And a little scenery:

They look great. Will there be an additional heavy weapons pack with a water cooled MG, and an army builder pack? |

Magnificent! I love your painting style. |

Gee, another figure that looks like me (the one center top). Great sculpts and painting! |

The guy at the right in the top row looks like he could be saying "Aaaay, Cisco". |

You need a not-James Coburn figure loaded down with dynamite. YouTube link |

Bad Bob. Bad bad Bob Murch. You know that I want these and I still have a lead mountain to paint first. You know that and you still want to tempt me. You are a very bad man . . . (a wonderful figure sculptor, but there is cruely in your heart) . . . yes, you are bad, Bob, very very bad. -- Jeff (a drooling British Columbian with many of your figures already)

To tempt folk further, a quote from Bob from elsewhere "Currently on the sculpting plate: Zapatista Peone soldiers Federales soldiers and Federales Officers, Federales mounted soldiers Vultures Americano Volunteers Boy soldiers A 7.7 artillery piece Mounted cowboys" |

It would be nice to see some different weapon types for the Fedrales too, Colt M1895 MG, Madsen LMG perhaps |

7.7? Presumably that's the German gun. I don't recall it being mentioned in the OBs in Hind's 'Battles of the Mexican Revolution 1913-15'. The most common medium artillery pieces listed are the Mondragon and French 75mm types. |

At last I can take a break. These are terrific figures figures but sadly I already have a regiment of Mexicans bandits and couple of Battalions of cowboys thanks to the previous work by Jeff Caruso. These are of course in smaller 25 mm scale so I wouldn't mix with these great new ones I would however break ranks to pick up two sets representing the Wild Bunch. 1. Pike, Dutch, Lyle, Tector, Angel 2. Deke and some bounty hunters, Yes we need a third set also to include Freddie, crazy Lee and a few other odds and ends. To complete this range we would need a pack of American army types for the hold up. Those, however, are available from other companies although not enough Anglo civilians are around. I like the call for a set of Juan and John. Also a set of "the professionals" would be tempting |

>>Also a set of "the professionals" would be tempting<< "The Professionals" is a great idea, and would fit in with the Mexican Revolution theme, but only Woody Strode and Lee Marvin would be obvious as sculpted characters. Burt Lancaster and Robert Ryan are dressed almost exactly the same way, but with differently colored clothing. Lancaster would have to be holding dynamite. Crazy Lee is only seen in a cavalry uniform and wouldn't fit in with the group after the first shootout. I agree with you that Pike, Dutch, Lyle, Tector and Angel would make a good pack. The mercenary pack should have Deke, Coffer, TC and a couple of the other scruffy looking mercs. |
