This book Bayonets and Blobsticks link was recently recommended to me (by ex-TMP member John D Salt at one of "the other places") and it is a really interesting read. It covers a bit more than the title might indicate, being all about low-level infantry combat in WW1 rather than just on bayonet fighting. And I imagine that members interested in dismounted close combat in more recent periods would still find lots to engross them in this book.
