Were there any mounted crosbowmen used at that time. And if there wore I suppose they opperated as mobile foot seargents and not fire or loaded from their horse …?

Not that I have read of. Mounted missile was Turcopole, using bow and javelin. Crossbow was exclusively infantry, covered by spearmen with shields….

I not aware of a source that mentions mounted crossbowmen on the Third Crusade.
