I've been busy beavering away modifying Heavy Gear miniatures into mecha of my own creation.

What is the base?

@Haywire: a British two pence piece. The coin is 25mm in diameter and 2mm thick, made of steel too. So perfect for using to base miniatures, and only cost 2p in British foreign money (for all those Americans out there that insist on on using Dollars and Cents etc).

I obviously need to find a nice Brit to go get me about 10GBP worth of 1p and 2p coins. They're a LOT cheaper than fender washers, even accounting for shipping costs!

Can't you order foreign money from your bank? We also have money exchanges, London where I live, and I would have thought big American cities would have them too.

I can get paper money in just about any currency I care to name, just not coins.
