That looks pretty cool.

My only nit is to not cover up the nice looking ships with the little "O"s, "X"s, and stars in circles, etc.

They're kinda important. And everything is placed by a program (so that these things don't take forever to lay out). And there's only so much space on the ship sheet, so things have to stay fairly compact.

Most importantly, this won't be the only place that the art appears.

This is pre-production art, right? A bit of an explanation about what means what would help mightily in understanding the dots and circles, etc.

Not sure I grasp your meaning when you say it's important this won't be the only place the art appears.

Regardless, thanks for giving us a look into the progress so far.

I think Ad Astra means that there will 'beauty shots' of the ships else where in the product, so the ship display won't be the only place to see the ships.

Circles/dots are shields, the numbers indicate how big the ship's profile is in each direction.

This art is downsampled from 300dpi to screen resolution, so it will look a lot better when printed.

Cool shots Ken. I like the mix of deflectors and regular shields plus the direction profile ratings.

Looking forward to the final SSDs – and gives me a good excuse to support the Axanar kickstater!

Not only is the art downsampled from 300DPI, the rest of the image is rasterized. All of the non-art items are vector graphics in the PDF output.
