For those of us who have never seen GW's headquarters. Picture is quite startling. I know GW is big but not as big as this building represents. Love the Space Marine statue out front. The big eagle on the building is kind of echoes of the Third Reich. |

I've been to the headquarters on a couple of occasions. It really is pretty amazing. I've done a tour through it and the size of everything is just so many times greater than any other miniature company I've ever been to. I think most of the Imperial imagery is supposed to be echoes of the Third Reich. The Imperium of Man is an oppressive dictatorship trying to crush the last vestiges of diversity and freedom out of the galaxy. Look at their intolerant approach to anyone even remotely different in genetic make-up and their suppression of religions that differ from the accepted theology. |

I suppose the empty parking space is reserved for the Corporate Leman Russ which must be out at the moment dealing with IP infringement. |

Look at their intolerant approach to anyone making miniatures that appear even remotely similar to their IP, and their suppression of creative expression that differ from the accepted theology. LOL :-) |

The Memphis warehouse is even bigger. You can fit the entire Lenton HQ inside the Memphis building with room leftover. |

It would be hilarious if somebody would photoshop a group of soldiers hoisting a flag with another game company's logo up on the roof. |

>>>The big eagle on the building is kind of echoes of the Third Reich. The locals (non-gamers) call the place Nazi HQ. I did once hear that GW's original plan was to build a Space Marine so large you drove through its legs to get into the car park. Nottingham council said no… |

The Imperium wasn't supposed to be the "Good Guys" of the setting. That was the role of the Rogue Traders. That the company adopted the Nazi-esque symbolism as key to their own particular brand doesn't speak very well of their judgement. |
