"Is anyone playing 7th Voyage" Topic

I don't hear much about it, but am intrigued to start. Anyone got any miniature recommendations or gaming advice?

You know, it does seem to coast a little below the radar. I own the rules and must say they look very impressive. I bought them for a Greek mythology project and think they would be perfect for the job. If you haven't seen it, the rulebook is beautifully done, it is clearly written, with plenty of examples, hero/extra/creature stats and scenarios.

So, without actually having played them, I'd give them an enthusiastic approval. The one small negative to the rules for me is that there is a good deal of reliance on playing chits of various descriptions, which can sometimes be bothersome. Theirs are so beautiful, however, that perhaps it isn't too big a deal.
