I have finally seen that the BBC will be showing the Danish TV series '1864' starting at 21:00 on Saturday 16 May. Huzzah! I am looking forward to this. And 'Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrel' starts the day after. Feast and famine, it is always the way. |

Saw the first two episodes and unfortunately I have been put off by the unnecessary and ahistorical filth the lefty director decided to subject us to. A great regret as I had been looking forward to this for months. |

How do you know the filth was ahistoric? Perhaps it was highly authentic filth. |
