I'm at a loss here. I am looking to make some Grave Guard units for my Vampire Counts Warmaster army in 10mm – and I don't seem to have any good options for non-regular skeletons for my Grave Guard. According to this Wiki entry, link "Upon the walls of Drakenhof Castle and other Vampire haunted keeps of Sylvania patrol tireless warriors clad in ancient armour and wielding glowing blades. These dread sentries are the Grave Guard – Wights drawn from their ancient tombs to act as guardians for the Vampire rulers of Sylvania. They are the best infantry the Vampire Counts have to offer and the outcome of the battle usually depends upon their performance." So…I'm getting Kallistra Skeletons, and I've perused Magister Militum, Copplestone, Pendraken, Eureka, Microworld (6mm), Splintered Light (15mm)… Do I need to go up to 15mm? Splintered Light has some armored-ish skeletons link but Im worried about an epic size difference. Do you have any other ideas for me? |

Irregular have 10mm skeletons that have helmets on, which would at least distinguish them from the Kallistra ones. |

Just choose warriors with the armour you like and paint the faces and hands white, leaving eye sockets and mouth black. In 10mm it should work. |

Yeah, if you just used full plate armoured guys, in 10mm it would be tough to notice the difference. |

I think Mahotsukai has a good idea. The GW Chaos Warriors are still pretty available, & they're in full plate with some skull like shields. But also, did you look closely at Magister Militum's Ghosts? link They don't have any weapons, but do have helmets & are fully clothed. |

Thanks for the tips. I am going to try the 100 Years War Men-at-Arms (H-901) based on this awesome blog: link |
