Howdy,

Updated the blog with the first part of my Badab War project. I wanted to start big with the captain and get the feel for the Mantis Warriors look and paint scheme. This is a big project dream come true for me. Ever since GW released the new Tactical Squad boxed set with some mk 6 Beakie parts I've been pulling together bits and parts to do a complete Rogue Trader era Mantis Warriors army. My friends are working on their own armies as well and we will be adding fleets to be able to run a campaign. The plan is to fight space battles using Battlefleet Gothic, fight boarding actions that result from the space battles using Space Hulk, and fight the planetary assaults using my own modified for 40k version of Disposable Heroes.

Here is the captain of 3rd company.

Looks great! Rock on with that classic stuff!

…Though that top pic is about to give me a seizure.

Thanks! Sorry about that wonky pic. It does move pretty fast now that I look at it…
