Well – May the 4th be with you – and it's high time for an update on the Solo Wargamers Association Lone Warrior Blog !

Right at the top – the new sample article for the month is from Lone Warrior 186 and is A long and a dusty road – Jonathan Aird's preprogrammed ACW scenario which is playable at least twice. PDF link Should convert to other periods very easily I'd have thought.

Paul Le Long has been busy with Osprey thumbnail reviews – including Elite 154 Vietnam Airborne Warfare PDF link which he believes is better than some reviews has suggested. And also Elite 185 PDF link and Elite 189 PDF link Medieval tactics (1) and (2) – bith get the thumbs up as well.

Continuing the medieval theme Rob Morgan looks at the 10 strangest weapons of the period : link

Changing to WWII Rob Morgan also contributes a long review of MAA 142 Partizan Warfare PDF link which is full of iseful material. Rob also supplies details on sources for figures for these forces.

Lots of useful stuff, a good read as ever.
