Hi
I have purchase for a really good price some Sihk War Brits (1840s) and was wondering what other conflicts I could use them for.
Any ideas?
They are Studio Miniatures I believe

First Afghan War, 1839-1842. If you happen to have some later era NWF tribesmen sitting around, so long as they're not armed with breechloaders, you are all set for another "bonus" theatre of operations. Another possible use would be the First Opium War of 1839-1842, when the British fought Qing Dynasty China.

Wopuld they be any good (not a Victorian uniform expert) for Rajah Brooks' campaign, 7th Kaffir War, Sind, Ceylon, Burma, New Zealand, imaginary war against Irish rebels, etc?

You could probably also use them as BAL if you swap out the flags.

Gwalior 1844/45, Scinde 1842/43, several small internal revolts in Madras and Bengal presidencies.

Mutiny in a pinch.

"What if" expeditionary force for the ACW? Or to early? Was there much difference from the 1840s to 1860s, probably, I'm no expert on that era.

There were a few 'home' uprisings in England and Ireland too.
Cheers happy gaming

The BAL option looks good.
No good for ACW Intervention
