Probably the closest we'll come to finding a side to cheer for in Syria. |

Hardly. Jaysh Al-Islam has a history of cooperation with Al-Nusra front, who are closely allied with al Qaeda. These guys are still Salafis, just slightly less extreme than the other butchers. |

I counted four armored vehicles, three of which were tracked, including two actual tanks. That's more than none, but not much of a 'fleet'. I wonder who is funding, training and supplying this faction? Qatar? Saudi? Turks? Us? |

Very sad but true … So these guys will or are on the US/Coalition target list. Now … or in the future ? At this point, Syria is a target rich environment. You can't swing a dead islamists jihadi without hitting some "bad guys" … |

I have determined that the policy of 9 to the front, 6 to the rear, is not how they do it there. I've seen boy scout troops that have better formation marches than some of these guys. Arms at different heights, out of step, dressing to the right, my DI would have had their heads. |

Maybe they can't march to your DI's specifications, but they sure can fight. |

Sure, when they believe that if they die fighting/be martyred for their God. In their God's name, that they will go to Paradise. Is similar somewhat to the IJF's mind set throughout most of WWII. In both cases, they will fight and die … "gladly" … |
