Not my work (I'm far less talented than this guy).

I especially like what appear to be .30 bullets w/o primers as 105mm shells.

Insane, but in the best possible sense of the word.

It would be a shame if the guns could not fire what their loading.

Vertual@ I'm mad I didn't catch that (not that I'm picky about typos)My Grandfather made a scrapbook out of all the newspaper cuttings of the whole operation. Hope my Dad still has it.

When I hit the lotto, I am building the Exeter, Achillies and Ajax to seize command of the lake.

Don't forget Cumberland to sit on some other lake.

I just posted the link on the Manned Model Ships Yahoo! group. It may have been shown there already, but I don't remember it.

And if it had, it's highly likely those fellows won't mind a reminder… ;->=

17' Dreadnought is still just a canoe in my garage… *sigh*

I hope this isn't one of those cases in which the host is expected to provide both sides.

Seven years to complete a model?
Sounds like me.

OMG Thats the 2nd of 2 of the Greatest models I have ever seen.

Some yrs ago I wandered into a garage where the owner bought, reconditioned then resold worn military vehicles.

To my amazment, on a boat trailer was a 1/48 scale USS Nimitz IIRC. He even had a 1/48 scale model of an Intruder on the 'flight deck'.
His friend who was there told me the owner had been working on it for about 4 – 5? yrs at the time.

Sadly, within a few wks, the guy closed the shop and moved elsewhere.

Just FYI.. guys if your interested, just Google, "Giant scale (warships/ Carriers / battleship)" whatever your interest.
