I have made a lot of progress since my last report, doors, windows, gun ports and a sentry tower.

Take a look if you like link

Insights, admonitions and guffaws welcomed.

Really nice job. Especially enjoy the creative use of the pill bottle. No guffaws are forthcoming… Well, not from me…

I was going to roll a paper tube (like I have done when making funnels for my Ironclads models) but it occurred to me that I could just use the bottle itself and it would be much sturdier.

An idea for funnels that might work for you is to get hold of the rather heavy cardboard tubes that produce bags at the grocery store are wrapped around. I keep my eyes open for them while shopping with the wife.

That is brilliant!
One of my son's friends works at the local grocery store, I will have to see about hoarding those as well!

I like your style!

Love the pill bottle tower. I have lots of those in all different sizes.

Just GREAT work! I just started working with that kinda foam. Carved out some 10mm desert adobe buildings, super detailed, in about 10 minutes a unit!

Look better than the old style I used for 6mm and 10mm, actually building with 1mm and 2mm foambaord, it took hours and still looked crappy.

Love your stuff here!

Damn blue and pink foam is getting hard to find here. Tried to snag some scraps from a Dollar general construction site, those bastards saved EVERY leftover piece! Treated it like it was gold!

Another idea for cylinder towers: Rubber craft foam cylinders, sold at Michaels. can be carved, painted and spackled.

Nice job, I need to build something like this some day for my unpainted Pirates.

If you live anywhere near North Metro Detroit I have simply TONS of the stuff. A buddy of mine was working at a business that used it in in industrial applications and we grabbed the stuff they were throwing away. I could spare several dozen square feet for you to play with.

In fact if there is anybody else looking for some contact me at daftrica89 @ yahoo . com and we can arrange a transfer.
