Are the infantry from Axis & Allies 15mm as well as the vehicles? I keep seeing these pop up on ebay and wondered.

The last batches were pretty much in scale with each other as far as the vehicles and infantry go, but I am not sure if they are really true 15mm. The infantry look small, but could be because they are thinner/skinnier than metal 15's. Bought a bunch of American, German and Russian stuff that I was going to use with a different set of rules, but never did they just sit on the shelf. I could measure a figure and or a vehicle if you want.

I don't care for them. I prefer miniatures from QRF, Battlefront, Eureka, and so on. They are actually cheaper, look way better, and match the vehicles better. Be careful with some of the early release artillery pieces like the US 75mm ATG. It''s more like 6mm!

I think they are closer to 10mm, but that might just be the earlier stuff.

I measured several standing men and they measure about 15mm to the eye and about 16-17mm to top of the head. I also measured several vehicles contact me off line and I can give you those measurements also thomo1315(at)gmail(dot)com.
